Occupational Therapy, often referred to as O.T., involves interventions to increase a patient's  independence and maximize function through remedial and compensatory strategies. An AmeriCare Occupational Therapist will evaluate a patients level of independence, cognition, and safety. The ultimate goal of occupational therapy is to enable patients to live safety and independently at home.
